I’m Elisa Mariani, a freelance colorist based in the Netherlands with over 15 years of experience in the industry. I specialise in documentaries, tv and drama series, working with directors and DPs to bring their visual vision fully to life in the grade.
My work has reached audiences across NPO, VPRO, RTL, MTV, Videoland, Amazon, HBO, and cinema releases. Every project, whatever its scale, gets the same level of care and creative investment.

My work has taken me beyond the grading suite too — grading concerts and live productions nationally and internationally, where speed, precision, and creative confidence all have to work together in real time.

My approach is collaborative above all else. Every project has its own identity, and I see my role as understanding that identity, then using color to amplify it. Whether that means rich, cinematic contrast or something raw and intimate, the story always leads.
